 Free advice on the practical aspects of living with and caring for a child with diabetes (we do not have any medical qualifications)

 Free financial advice (eligibility for disability living allowance for yourself and carer’s allowances).

 Subsidised places on Diabetes UK children’s holidays and family weekends

 Bi monthly group meetings at various places

 A varied social programme for all children with something for all ages

 A regular newsletter to keep you in touch with what is going on in the group

 Diabetes UK and Tadpole Club membership applications. (We strongly advise membership for each child, the first year being free.)

 Providing emotional support and advice as and when needed.

 Keeping uppermost the needs and feelings of the children in the group.
